Using the work order planning and scheduling in Workheld allows you to quickly assign, schedule and dispatch projects, work orders and workers.
Convenient dispatching of workers in the work manager dashboard
Whether it is assembly, service or maintenance work – drag & drop job planning makes it easy for you to schedule the work that needs to be done and assign it to the responsible employees. The work manager view makes weekly planning easy and is accessible from every PC with an internet connection.
Creating new projects, assignments, work orders and filling them with all relevant information is also easy. Tasks can already be assigned to workers during the creation which makes the scheduling even easier. As soon as they are assigned, they automatically appear in the scheduling board and are visible to all dispatchers.
Technicians, tools and equipment can be easily attached to work orders or individual work steps by drag & drop. Of course, you have the option of using the availability check to check in advance whether the technicians are not already assigned to another work order on the planned date.
Additionally, you can attach pictures, drawings and other documents to the work orders, which are available offline in the Workheld App after synchronization.
Easy access to checklists
Checklists can also be easily added to the individual work steps. These are much more flexible and adaptable than forms in paper format! Changes or updates can be made without much effort and synchronized with all technicians. It is just as easy to create different versions of a form to reflect the differences between machine types or country-specific laws.
Work templates and availability check
During the creation of work orders you can also use our work templates. These are particularly practical when it comes to work that is to be carried out according same way over and over again.
Once creating the work order is complete, you can also use the integrated availability check find all available technicians during the planned period and assign them to the individual work steps with a single click.
